Cold screwing or riveting the rigid track with no special tools, it can be bent by hand, no need to heat it up. The track bends perfectly in all boat directions, so installation is quick and easy. On the smaller sizes, the screws or rivets should be positioned in the central part of the rigid track, on the larger sizes they should be positioned on its external “wings”.
The soft insert is installed cold for the sizes 30, 40 and 52 mm; for the 65 and 80 mm sizes a pre-heating is necessary. You start from the transom remembering at each meter approx. to lengthen the insert of 2/3 cm so the stretching is perfect.
Fixe the extremities of the profile with one or two screws and finish with the end caps or joint caps, which must partially overcome the end of the profile (they must not be fixed on its side).
