Fitting steps
Every 20 cm, drill holes in the PVC base. Insert the screws, but do not tighten them fully. Lave them halfway in to create space between the PVC base and the boat hull.
Apply a strong adhesive or silicone suitable for marine use. Spread the adhesive along the back of the profile. Apply it on both upper and lower edges.
Push the profile firmly against the hull. Tighten all screws completely. The sealant will begin bonding the profile. The screws will secure firmly in position. In this phase, the optional S/S or aluminum fixing bar can be used for a stronger application.
Apply the closing profile by pressing with a rubber hammer.
Apply silicone along the outer edges for perfect sealing.
Cut the profile and fix the 2 modules at the end with a screw (before the endcap).
Complete with the end caps. They must partially overcome the end of the profile (they must not be fixed on its side).
